Since good risk management is essential to any health club, having the right insurance partner is critical for maintaining a culture of safety. Here, Art Krueger, the director of The Wave Aquatic and Fitness Center in Whitefish, Montana, shares his experience partnering with The Cincinnati Insurance Company:

How were you introduced to The Cincinnati Insurance Company, and why did you decide to work with them?

AK: Our local agent introduced us to the idea of The Cincinnati Insurance Company. After taking inventory of what was offered compared to competitors, it made great sense, both from a cost savings and customer service standpoint. The three-year commercial package policy was a great option for us.

How has The Cincinnati Insurance Company educated you on risk management? What have you learned?

AK: We take risk management seriously and have worked diligently with our local agency’s loss control department to ensure we are doing whatever is necessary to offer the safest experience possible for our members. When we found out The Cincinnati Insurance Company provides a local representative in our rural area, we were very excited. We plan on having regular visits and education for our lead staff members. We’ve learned this company will do what is necessary to deliver on their commitment to service and education.

How would you describe The Cincinnati Insurance Company’s customer support?

AK: Excellent. Any time we’ve had questions, our agent has gotten immediate responses or assistance where needed. Additionally, at any time I’ve worked with representatives from The Cincinnati Insurance Company at industry shows, I’ve always gotten follow-up, regardless of whether we were doing business or not. It is clear they are not just in the business of selling their product, but supporting those they serve.

Have you been pleasantly surprised in any way by working with The Cincinnati Insurance Company?

AK: The fact that we are able to secure our policy rates for a three-year term was surprising and welcome, especially during budget season. We’ve also greatly appreciated the resources given to us, in terms of a local loss control representative, especially since we are in a rural area, as compared to many parts of the country.
