The Atlantic Club and Cooper Wellness Strategies have announced a strategic partnership that will bring wellness and medical fitness offerings to The Atlantic Club community in Manasquan, New Jersey.
Launching on April 26, 2022, Cooper Wellness Strategies programs will be offered at The Atlantic Club, such as “Post COVID-19 Recovery (Long Haulers),” “Active with Arthritis” and “Health and Wellness 101.” In addition, a Cooper Wellness Center location will open at The Atlantic Club in late April.
“The Cooper Wellness Center at The Atlantic Club partnership equips our outstanding medical fitness team with the world-renowned expertise and power of The Cooper Wellness research-based programming and assessments that address all key areas of the population,” said Kevin McHugh, the COO of The Atlantic Club. “Our Cooper trained and certified team is excited to be offering in the upcoming year the same programming, as well as the CooperFit assessments that individuals receive at Cooper Aerobics in Dallas, Texas.”
Additional Cooper Wellness Strategies programs and services to be offered at The Atlantic Club include Cooper Tracks, a program designed to empower those who are deconditioned or with chronic health conditions on how to exercise safely and develop healthier habits. Future Cooper Tracks programs will focus on diabetes and cancer.
According to Cooper Wellness Strategies, each Cooper Tracks program is eight weeks in length, consisting of pre- and post-program health assessments, and also include two small group exercise classes and education sessions per week.
The Cooper Wellness Center at The Atlantic Club will also offer Cooper’s Move.Laugh.Connect program, starting in October, 2022, and CooperFit testing, a cardiovascular fitness test providing an accurate prediction of a person’s fitness level.
For those interested, Cooper Wellness Strategies will work with other clients and facilities to offer Cooper Tracks, Cooper Quest and CooperFit programs. In addition, there is a certification for Move.Laugh.Connect.
The Atlantic Club is a certified medical fitness facility by The Medical Fitness Association — one of only 45 facilities to have such credentials worldwide.
Cooper Aerobics, the parent company to Cooper Wellness Strategies, was founded in 1970 by Dr. Kenneth H. Cooper. The brand includes five other health and wellness companies, plus a research and education nonprofit, The Cooper Institute. The company is based in Dallas, Texas.
