“The devastation in the Texas Hill Country has deeply affected our teams in the area and the communities we serve,” said CJ Bouchard, the CEO of Excel Fitness. “In moments like these, we believe it’s our responsibility to stand together and take action. By joining forces with our fellow Planet Fitness franchisees, we hope this donation offers immediate relief and long-term support to families facing the difficult road ahead. Our hearts are with everyone impacted, and we remain committed to helping the region heal and rebuild.”
Planet Fitness’ donation will directly support the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, delivering critical emergency financial assistance, mental health services, and long-term recovery support to communities impacted in Kerr, Ingram, Hunt and neighboring counties.
Overall, Texas Planet Fitness franchise groups are committed to doing their part to meet the need and support their local communities. The emotional and financial toll of the flooding is far-reaching, and local officials and aid organizations continue to call for sustained support.
