The Bay Club Company continues to expand with its addition of Arena Sports in the greater Seattle area.
Arena Sports is an indoor sports and entertainment company with five locations in Magnuson, SODO, Mill Creek, Redmond and Issaquah, including the Magnuson Athletic Club. Known for its year-round youth and adult soccer leagues, nationally recognized Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute Development programs, and seasonal youth camps, Arena Sports serves a wide range of members. The facilities also have family-friendly activities such as laser tag, inflatables, arcade games, climbing walls, fitness equipment and event hosting spaces that have made them a trusted destination for community and fun in the area.
The addition of Arena Sports to Bay Club continues its plan to develop regional campuses that provide access to activities beyond traditional health and wellness programming, and expand family and all-ages recreation offerings across the region. This move allows Bay Club to offer more access to sports, outdoor recreation and active lifestyle activities for all ages.
“Arena Sports complements our Greater Seattle Campus by providing high-demand, family-centric experiences, which deepens our day-to-day relevance for members,” said Victor Woo, the executive vice president of new business development at Bay Club, in a statement.
Arena Sports is excited to join Bay Club as well. “Our mission has always been to bring families together through play, sports and memorable experiences,” said Don Crowe, the CEO of Arena Sports, in a statement. “As we become part of Bay Club, we look forward to continuing that mission on an even larger scale, while maintaining the community feel our customers have always valued.”
Bay Club acquired the PRO Club locations in Seattle and Bellevue, their first in the greater Seattle area, which provided an anchor for the region in December 2023. They have also acquired Harbor Square Athletic Club and three 425 Fitness locations. These acquisitions demonstrate the company’s aim to identify businesses that reinforce the company’s regional strategy — unite sports, outdoor recreation and active lifestyle experiences while allowing people to discover, join and grow their community.
Lil’ Kickers Inc., which licenses the Lil’ Kickers and Skills Institute programs nationwide, is not part of this acquisition and will continue to operate independently.
Bay Club was founded in 1977 and has 26 locations with over 140,000 members that only continues to grow.
