The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) today announced new dates and a new location for the 2021 annual trade show.
The 2021 event will move from September to October 13-15, 2021, and from Los Angeles to Dallas, Texas. This is the first time the trade show will be held in Dallas in more than 30 years.
According to IHRSA, the change is being made to ensure attendees will be able to safely gather.
“Because of the current COVID-19 restrictions in Los Angeles County, hosting IHRSA 2021 in Los Angeles this September as previously planned is too uncertain,” said Brent Darden, IHRSA interim president and CEO, in a statement. “The IHRSA Board of Directors, Industry Partner Advisory Council, and IHRSA staff unanimously agreed that moving the convention to Dallas was the best path forward for our industry and attendees.”
IHRSA 2021 was originally scheduled to take place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was then pushed to September in Los Angeles.
