UFC GYM has partnered with the Young Survival Coalition to raise awareness and charitable donations at participating locations throughout the U.S. on Breast Cancer Awareness Day, which is recognized on Saturday, October 15.
Each collaborating UFC GYM location will hold events during the day featuring special classes, activities, food and entertainment for the entire family. All proceeds of sales secured will benefit the Young Survival Coalition, the premier global organization dedicated to young women diagnosed with breast cancer.
“We are honored and humbled to partner with the Young Survival Coalition to bring awareness, raise funds and join the fight to combat the most common form of cancer among women in the United States,” said Adam Sedlack, the president of UFC GYM. “We are all fighters and this is a perfect time for all UFC GYM members and guests to lend our support for this empowering organization.”
“We are very excited to expand our partnership with UFC GYM,” said Jennifer Merschdorf, the CEO of Young Survival Coalition, and a breast cancer survivor. “UFC GYM and its members, along with UFC athletes, have shown a significant commitment to helping young women facing breast cancer and we couldn’t be more thrilled to work with them on this impactful campaign.”
In addition to Saturday’s event, UFC GYM members and guests at each participating location can purchase pink ribbons throughout the month of October ($1 for children and $5 for adults) to showcase their continued support.
