Your club’s software is arguably the most important piece of technology you can invest in. Without it, it’s difficult to streamline day-to-day operations and offer a seamless customer experience — especially across multiple locations.
Here, Amanda Freeman, the national franchisee manager for World Gym Australia, shares why they invested in Clubware/Debitsuccess as their software of choice.
CS: How were you introduced to Clubware/Debitsuccess and why did you decide to work with them?
AF: We started working with Debitsuccess and Clubware in 2008 when we opened our first World Gym club in Australia — World Gym Penrith. We decided to work with them because it seemed like the most inclusive service available, and the fact that debt collection was included in the offering was definitely appealing. The software from Clubware seemed comprehensive and the reporting features were what we were looking for.
CS: How has Clubware/Debitsuccess made your job as a club operator easier?
AF: Debitsuccess and Clubware have allowed us to focus on the day-to-day operations of our business. Once we sign our members onto their direct debit the rest is left with Debitsuccess. Clubware and Debitsuccess work seamlessly together, so from the moment we complete the DDR form the member shows in Clubware and we set them up to use the facility.
CS: What Clubware/Debitsuccess reports do you find to be the most valuable?
AF: There is an array of valuable reports available to us through Debitsuccess and Clubware. On a daily basis we use POS summary reports, Overdue reports from both Clubware and Debitsuccess, Membership Sales reports, and Payment Z Off reports for closing the till daily in Clubware. From Debitsuccess the daily summary report is very useful as a snapshot of yesterday’s business, and the monthly statistics report is very handy also.
CS: How would you describe Clubware/Debitsuccess’s customer service?
AF: It is obvious that Debitsuccess and Clubware take customer service seriously. In the odd occasion where we have had to escalate issues with accounts or software issues we are put in the hands of our account manager. The account manager will follow through on the issue until it’s resolved.
CS: Why should other clubs consider partnering with Clubware/Debitsuccess?
AF: Over the last 10 years working with Debitsuccess and Clubware, I can see they are a large player in the fitness industry. They are striving to improve their service and product features. They have commenced regular workshops to upskill managers and owners about issues facing the fitness industry — this shows they have a passion for improving themselves and those they work with. After recently meeting with the Clubware development team, I am excited to see what they have in store for us at a club level.
