Here, Jim Sansone, the director of operations for The Edge Fitness Clubs, explains why Club OS has proved to be the best sales solution for the company’s 19 locations.

CS: Can you tell me why you partnered with Club OS, maybe what issues you were trying to solve?

JS: The Edge is a growing business, so we need a great contact management system. We spent some time comparing and contrasting Club OS and implemented it in a couple of our clubs just to start. We found them to be the best solution and a better solution than what we were using previously. We have been using them extremely actively since.

CS: What are some of your favorite features of Club OS?

JS: It’s employee-friendly. It’s really simple for our sales employees to know what their tasks are each day.

Another great feature is that Club OS interacts very well and seamlessly with our club management software provider, ABC Financial. It also interacts well with VFP, which we use for all of our digital price presentations for our members — so they have to really work together. It has to be a three-part process. Club OS is holding the contact management, VFP is the presentation, and then all the data is being captured within ABC. Those three things happening at the same time can be complex, and this system is working well for us.

CS: What does your sales team really like about Club OS?

JS: It’s able to spell their day out right in front of them, every day when they come in for work. And they’ve been using it for a while now, so it’s just like driving a car for them. They’re used to using it, so there’s a familiarity to it, a simplicity to it. I think it benefits our team.

CS: How would you describe Club OS’s customer service and support?

JS: We’re one of their earlier customers and they’re local, so they’ve worked very closely and seamlessly with us to be able to alter the solutions when needed and to help us install systems and onboard our team. It’s been a very good partnership.

CS: What else differentiates Club OS from the other sales software you’ve heard of or tested?

JS: The simplicity of their product is great. And their knowledge of the industry is great. The founders of Club OS were industry guys who built a software product for the industry, and you can see that in the way our employees move within the product. I think that’s a big help.

CS: Why else should club operators consider partnering with Club OS?

JS: Club OS is adapting and changing their product based on the feedback they’re getting. They’re continuing to get better by serving great clients, and that’s making everyone better. So, the ships are really rising with the ocean. I think that’s really important.
