Cryotherapy, the application of extremely low temperatures for therapeutic purposes, has been a steadily growing recovery trend in the fitness industry. Cryo Innovations, delivering a quick dry chill to aid in workout recovery, is leading the charge.
Here, Gary Scheffler, the owner of GLS Training Facility, shares his experience working with Cryo Innovations and the results they’ve delivered for recovering athletes:
Why did you decide to partner with Cryo Innovations?
GS: We were researching different cryo chambers for some time. We happened to be in San Diego one weekend and stopped at Cryo Innovations to try it out. The rest was history — we knew we needed it for our athletes.
How would you rate the quality of Cryo Innovations’ products?
GS: As far as quality, I wouldn’t believe it if I was told there was a better machine on the market. This machine is its own business — it does point of sale, health waivers, training and much more. It’s all-inclusive.
From a customer service perspective, is Cryo Innovations easy to work with?
GS: Once you have an understanding of the chamber, it is a simple process. It is very easy to work with.
Why is it important to offer great recovery products and services to members?
GS: From a recovery side of the training business, this is the ultimate game-changer. Our athletes are completely sold on it and it has become the go-to after tough training and recovery from games.
Have you been pleasantly surprised working with Cryo Innovations in any way?
GS: The staff at Cryo Innovations is the absolute best — they are always available. I think I have their personal cell phones numbers at this point! If there is a problem, they are “Johnny on the spot.”
Why should other clubs consider using Cryo Innovations’ products?
GS: I would recommend Cryo Innovations to any facility. Recovery is awesome and it works for a business. It is definitely the gold standard.
