Maintaining Your Culture Throughout COVID-19

Now, more than ever, maintaining the culture inside your facility has become a challenge. The fitness industry has been heavily impacted by the recent shutdowns and operators are experiencing new challenges when servicing their members as they attempt to safely reopen.   

Throughout the shutdown, it was vitally important we stayed in front of our members with positive messaging and motivational routines that would keep them eager to return once we reopened. We took advantage of live videos on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to relay information to our members, such as gym updates, good nutrition tips while stuck at home, and various motivational interviews to help our members stay positive and focused on their return. 

As gyms begin to reopen, it is critically important to maintain the level of safety and social distancing that will be required as we make our way through the COVID-19 experience. Our teams and operators will be tasked with making sure members feel as comfortable as possible while keeping them healthy and safe in the facility.  

 We have implemented a variety of systems to control traffic around the facility, such as: directional floor signage, designated exits and entryways, gym floor signage encouraging social distancing, and temperature checks upon entry to the facility.  

Our teams always reassure our members by wearing masks and gloves, and recommending the use of sanitization stations. We have also installed additional disinfectant dispensers to provide an additional layer of protection to our members and our teams while they are in the facility.  

Our members have been amazing in their response to all the additional protocols we have put into place. The support of our community has been overwhelming and our culture has only grown as we continue to work toward full capacity in our facility. 

Our teams have gone above and beyond to take our customer service to the next level and their efforts have given our members peace of mind. Their dedication to our culture and mission has allowed us to return to serving the community and people we love.
