World Gym International, the iconic global fitness brand, has appointed Jared Deptula as its franchise business coach. In this role, Deptula will help both new and existing franchisees improve all areas of their business to achieve significant growth, profitability and value creation.

Prior to joining World Gym, Deptula was the general manager of Chelsea Piers in Manhattan, New York, one of the largest and most successful fitness centers in the world. He was directly responsible for the successful operation of the 150,000 square foot, multi-purpose sports and fitness complex which was located in a highly competitive marketplace. In his 20 years with Chelsea Piers, he served as a financial analyst, controller, operations manager, and eventually vice president and general manager. He recently spent a short term as a senior general manager and client relationship manager at Jones Lang Lasalle where he managed over 50 million square feet of commercial industrial properties nationwide and won the National Client Service Excellence Award in his first year.

Through an innovative partnership with Les Mills, World Gym Anywhere members also have access to a special library of Les Mills’ most popular workouts including BODYPUMP, BODYCOMBAT, LES MILLS GRIT and more.
As part of coaching franchisees, Deptula will help gyms implement World Gym University, an exclusive online training portal for franchise owners, gym managers, trainers and staff. World Gym University includes training on a wide range of gym operations and marketing topics. Through World Gym University, personal trainers also have access to unlimited, free continuing education credits to maintain their certifications.
