UFC GYM Enhances Member Workouts with Myzone

UFC GYM and UFC FIT are always looking for ways to make fitness more fun and impactful for their members. So when Laura Aiello, the global program director for UFC GYM and UFC FIT, learned about Myzone and their offerings — she knew it was the perfect tool to enrich their classes and overall member experience.

Here, learn what makes Myzone more than just a vendor providing a product, how it helps members get the most out of their workouts and more.

How has Myzone helped improve your fitness offerings?

Myzone is a great tool for seeing what is really going with each member. It helps our coaches and instructors tune in to just how hard someone is working so they know when to push harder – and when to pull back. We refer to our trainers as coaches for a reason. They are there to pull the very best out of each member, rather if it’s in one-on-one training or a class setting. Myzone helps our coaches tap into that mindset, educate members on what they are really capable of and get the results the members walked in our doors for.  

What do your members like most about Myzone?

I think the answer is twofold. Firstly, they love to see where they are at and feel that sense of accomplishment when they see themselves improve performance. Secondly, it’s the competition factor. Our members thrive on beating each other and sometimes their coaches. We run regular monthly challenges, as well as special challenges in conjunction with some of our fitness events. It helps keep them going and spurs them on to stay the course. Myzone is a great motivational tool, especially when they get hooked on it. Intrinsic motivation sticks. 

How would you describe Myzone’s customer service?

Best in class. They have robust resources online and incredible support. They really do all they can to help your business be successful. I also appreciate the fact that, while the product is “out of the box,” their approach is customized to your business. A big box gym like ours is pretty different than a boutique gym and they work with us on solutions that are suitable for our needs. 

Why should other club operators consider working with Myzone?

I think Myzone is a great enhancement to any fitness business. Today’s consumer is savvy, wants things easy to incorporate into their routine, and is looking for new ways to get the most out of their workout experience. Myzone really ticks all those boxes. 

Anything else you’d like to add about working with Myzone?

I feel like working with the Myzone team is much more than a vendor providing a product. It’s a collaboration of partners to achieve success. That is not all that common these days.
