Villa Sport has expanded its presence in Idaho with the acquisition of six Crunch Fitness clubs, a move that significantly increases the company’s footprint across the greater Treasure Valley.
With the addition of the six locations, Villa Sport now operates 10 fitness clubs in the region, serving more than 50,000 members. The expansion follows recent remodels at the company’s original four Treasure Valley locations and underscores Villa Sport’s continued investment in the Idaho market.
“Coming off the heels of recent remodels at our original four locations in the Treasure Valley, we’re thrilled to welcome these six new clubs into the Villa Sport family,” said Billy Malkovich, president of Villa Sport, in a statement. He noted that the company has allocated significant capital to fund improvement projects at the newly acquired clubs to ensure they align with Villa Sport’s standards and member experience.
Known for its state-of-the-art facilities, broad range of fitness programming and member-focused approach, Villa Sport said the expanded network will allow it to serve more members with greater convenience and flexibility throughout the region.
“This is a major milestone for Villa Sport and for the Treasure Valley community—and we’re just getting started,” said Malkovich.
Looking ahead, Villa Sport plans to continue expanding its portfolio, actively scouting new sites for both Athletic Clubs and Fitness Clubs. According to the company, future growth will focus on high-growth communities where Villa Sport can establish a long-term presence as a fitness and recovery partner.
