Dan Gray, the chief financial officer for Club Greenwood, shares how Club Automation is a knowledgeable and sincere partner for their club.

Club Greenwood opened July 1, 1987, and has been striving to be the best part of their members’ day ever since.

Dan Gray, the chief financial officer for Club Greenwood, said the club sets industry standards as a leading model for club management with fiscally sound and consistent business practices, premier health and fitness facilities, exceptional programs and services and professional staff who focus on members first. 

Setting industry standards is no easy task, so Club Greenwood started looking for a partner who was knowledgeable and sincere, and would work with them and help meet their needs. “We needed a powerful reporting tool, a user interface that was intuitive for our staff and a feature-rich app that provided our members with the ability to check-in, register for classes/programs, check their statement/pay their bill, make changes to their account, etc.,” explained Gray.

For Club Greenwood, that partner was Club Automation. Below, Gray shares how Club Automation is helping them navigate the industry, even during this unprecedented time.

How has Club Automation helped you navigate the challenges we are currently experiencing?

With the current environment of COVID-19, we are requiring members who visit the club to register for whatever activity they are planning to do. Whether working out in the weight room, cardio areas, lap swimming, yoga, Pilates, personal training, tennis, anything — they have to register for that space. The Club Automation system made it easy for us to implement and the app made it easy for members to register.

What features of Club Automation’s software have provided the most benefits to your business?

Our club has really benefited from reports, the communication center to send emails to members, program registration, class and group activity registration, seamless membership billing and transactional reporting.

Why is it so important to have such a reliable software partner?

Along with our staff, the club management software is the backbone of our business operations. We need a partner that will be there every step of the way to help us and provide solutions as our business transforms and grows into the future — and Club Automation does just that.
