4th of July Events from Around the Industry

Independence Day

Most clubs have amended hours on 4th of July, with many families taking the day off. However, some clubs are taking advantage of the opportunity to host special Independence Day events that are a great way to engage members.

After all, it’s the middle of summer and cold beverages are never more popular than they are on July 4th, making it the perfect occasion for a pool party or barbecue.

If you’ve already planned an Independence Day event, that’s great! If not, allow us to provide a little inspiration from around the industry. Check out some of the events clubs are hosting for Independence Day:

Midtown Athletic Clubs

At its Rochester, NY location, Midtown members are welcome to enjoy a two-hour 4th of July pool party starting at noon. Featuring lots of games and activities, this party is complimentary for members, and guests only have to pay $25 to get in.

Later in the evening, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m., Midtown’s Chicago club is allowing members to take their families up on the facility roof to take in a beautiful view of a spectacular fireworks show.

The Bay Club Company

At the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club, the Bay Club Company is hosting its Driving Range and Lakes Lawn Bash in the evening from 5:00 to 9:30, complete with a barbecue buffet, zip line, obstacle course, rock wall and many other rides, activities and concessions.

Starting a little later, at 6:00, Boulder Ridge Gold Club is hosting its Fourth of July Bash. This party will run until 10:00 p.m. and feature live music, plenty of food options and a variety of games.

Cincinnati Sports Club

For the third year in a row, Cincinnati Sports Club is hosting its 4th of July Block Party at the club’s outdoor pool. With live music, fun activities like an inflatable water roller and trampoline, patriotic crafts for the kids, and a clear view of the Ault Park fireworks, this party is a great family outing.
