From pumpkin carving contests to family movie nights, clubs across the country are embracing the season and using the time to bring members together.
As the air grows cooler and leaves start to change color, many fitness clubs are embracing the season as an opportunity to bring members together in meaningful ways. Seasonal programming goes beyond workouts and wellness goals — it can be a chance for members to foster connection, create memories and stay engaged.
From fall festivals to themed fitness challenges, these programs give members a reason to interact and have fun, encouraging members to see clubs not only as a place to exercise but also as a space for community. The fall season offers a variety of ways to make fitness and well-being social, enjoyable and memorable.
Here’s a look at how clubs across the U.S. are using fall festivities and Halloween programming to engage members and celebrate connection.
Corpus Christi Athletic Club
At Corpus Christi Athletic Club, members can test their endurance in the Myzone Zombie Apocalypse Fitness Challenge. Participants use Myzone belts to earn as many points as possible during the first week of October before “zombies” join and try to catch up. The top five members with the most points win rewards, encouraging friendly competition and spirited fun.
The club is also hosting a fall festival where families can come together for a day of arts and crafts, seasonal treats and shopping in celebration of family and community. Check out the details of this event here.
Wisconsin Athletic Club
Wisconsin Athletic Club (WAC) locations are providing not-so-spooky seasonal events for both adults and children. At the North Shore, Menomonee Falls and West Allis locations, the Adults-Only Halloween Parties offer members a child-free night out filled with drink specials, creative costumes and community bonding.
The Menomonee Fall location is also hosting a Trunk-or-Treat event, where members and staff deck out their vehicles with festive decor and hand out Halloween treats. Dressing up is encouraged and the parking lot turns into a safe celebration for all ages in this playful event.
Multiple fall festivities are planned at the Brookfield location, including a pumpkin painting event. Participants will spend the evening creating their own masterpiece and bonding with other community members. Brookfield will celebrate with its Fall Fest on October 18, featuring fun activities and refreshments.
These events exemplify how WAC’s multiple locations tailor fall experiences to their members while maintaining a strong sense of community. To learn more about WAC’s fall events, check out their website.

Celebrating Community Through Fall Fun
As we enter the fall season, these creative events demonstrate how fitness clubs can go beyond traditional programming to foster genuine connection among members. By blending wellness with seasonal fun, clubs can provide opportunities for all ages to engage and celebrate. From friendly competitions to family festivals, these programs show that well-being is about more than just fitness. Seasonal programming reminds members why their club is more than a place to work out — it’s a space to connect and share experiences with others.
